The Gig

We’re on the lookout for a vibrant Host to join our hatted restaurant team at Ace Hotel Sydney. You'll be the friendly face greeting guests, managing table allocations, and keeping things running smoothly. From handling reservations and small function inquiries to adding thoughtful touches like birthday candles, you’ll help make every visit special. You'll also jump in to support the floor team, assist with table service, and manage POS payments when needed. If you’ve got experience in top-notch restaurants, strong communication skills, and a positive vibe, we’d love to hear from you. Availability on weekends and for double shifts is key.

• Experience in high-quality restaurants, hotels, or as a host.
• Strong communication skills and a team player.
• Confident using reservation systems (Sevenrooms) and POS.
• Positive attitude with a focus on exceptional service.
• Able to manage bookings, special requests, and guest needs.
• Willing to jump in and support the floor team when needed.
• Available for weekends and double shifts when required.
